Erin and Enoch met online in November 2022. As they started talking, they realized they had many things in common, such as their love for Jesus, traveling, and they even were attending the same church. After chatting online for two weeks, they met in person for their first date at an outdoor pizza place in East Nashville.

The date went well, and after dinner, Enoch offered to keep the conversation going as they walked to a nearby coffee shop, but unfortunately, when they arrived, it was closed early. Enoch suggested they go to a location he had scouted for a photo shoot with a nice view of the Nashville skyline. But there was a small detail that made this location a little creepy, at least for a first date. It was actually on top of a parking garage.

But Erin, being adventurous, decided to join him anyway (after texting a friend), and they ended up having a romantic moment counting Christmas decorations they could see from the top of the Nashville Public Library parking garage in the middle of downtown.

A few days later, Erin invited Enoch to her work's Christmas party, where they accidentally started the tradition of taking funny photos with Santa every year. After the party, they visited the Gaylord Opryland Hotel to see the fantastic Christmas decorations. They shared their first kiss on a bridge overlooking the decorated indoor river while Christmas music played in the background. It was on this bridge that Enoch asked Erin to be his girlfriend.

Enoch was nervous that Erin wouldn't want to travel as much as he did. But not a month into dating, they were already traveling together. Enoch says he knew she was the real deal when she excitedly agreed to meet at the airport at 3:45 am to drop off all of their equipment for a 5:30 am flight. Since then, they have traveled all over the country together and made some great memories.

Erin and Enoch started celebrating "monthiversary's" very early in their relationship. Every month, they have tried to go on a small but special date to celebrate each month as a milestone in their relationship on the day they began dating. They both love surprising each other each month. Being on the road quite a bit has given them the ability to have some unique experiences each month.

After becoming church members together, Enoch and Erin became involved in their church's media department and found a love for serving the Lord this way! Erin is the stage manager on Sunday mornings, and Enoch often operates a camera.

Unbeknownst to Erin, Enoch began talking to his mentor and parents about how he wanted to marry her. He realized that she was the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. From the start of their relationship, Erin and Enoch were very intentional about their focus while dating. They both wanted to get married and approached dating with that in mind. Every night, they called and prayed together that God would continue to guide them, draw them closer to Him as they got closer to each other, and that they would have His love for each other.

Finally, in September of 2023, after some very nervous planning, Enoch asked Erin's dad, Kip, for his blessing on proposing to Erin. He had just bought a new truck and told Erin they were just "going on a ride in the new truck." Kip gave Enoch his blessing, and Enoch then spoke to Erin's mother, Tina, as well. She also was excited and gave her blessing.
